ABOUT US
The ASUCD Research and Data Committee (R&DC) was established to incorporate the diversity of the UC Davis student body into the decision making of ASUCD and campus administration. While there is a diversity of perspectives, experiences, and opinions, the student body is often not consulted on major decisions nor are students from specific backgrounds asked about the needs their communities are facing. Thus the committee seeks to serve as an advisory body to the ASUCD Student Government bodies and ASUCD Units by providing them with quantitative and qualitative data on topics of interest. R&DC collects data through surveys, analyzes the data, and summarizes the results into reports and presentations.
The results of our work are publicly available to all here and are often presented to decision makers on campus. It is our strong belief that the more informed campus leaders are, the better the decisions they make. If you are a UC Davis student, please be sure to share your opinions when our surveys come out!
